Hi I am livng my life now I am covering after I had driving addicent in last month but i am ok i had bruised ribs and i am fine thank god to saving my life and i am looking for marrying kaz in 2012 and i am saving like mad i had good week off last week and i went to hotel with kaz at kinggate hotel and it was good must keep writing in this blog and keep up to date and i post the wedding photo in here once we get the photos and i am happy man i am getting married to lovely lady that i love for rest of my life and i am enjoying my life and we will change to get new job as we both hate our jobs and i am writing about us in everyday. I am still playing bowling twice week soon next year but i am going to try improved my bowling and great score in bowling. and i am going go bed now as i am getting tired.

HI I been off work for 6 weeks because i had 2 hernia and depression and anxiety and i am going to counseling and i am on Prozac medication and it is making go high and low at times and i don't think helping me but i am OK and I will get it sorted and I am going to go up skill my skills next year with maths and reading and writing and also i am wanting ask if i can learn to help with my driving skills.And i am going back on Monday to work and i am looking forward to it.

Hi alll I am in new place in my Girl friend house kaz and we getting on and I am enjoying being with her and we been in relationship for 10 month from this date 6/3/10 but we started on 6/5/2009 yeah and going well cool eh and i did also around bays in 36.23 mins but the newspaper said 38 but what load of rubbish anyway i am having good life and finally near pay off my stundent loan and we got board band internet which is great and we getting more and more fitness as we want to both get fit and that me and kaz yeah. I am excited about moving and it will be closer to where my girlfriend kaz live but i am also bit nervous as well as a new place and area and living with someone as well. well , i havent been up to much . now i was home alone for a week it was fun through but bit scary at night but i wasnt scare too much through and i am glad mum and dad and aunty jacky and uncle robert are back. and now it it is waitangi day today so everyone is home today. I reckon this year i got make effort in my life and not make fool of it and move on with life with out gf without being lazy person and look for job. But one most thing that bothers me is that it hard to find job and it make me feel that i feel like loser but i cant give up cos there people out there that can trust deaf or doesnt care about deaf and treat like normal person but it hard to do that when u think i cant get one. And when i do get i work my ass off to get where i want be in for life no matter what i will do.

hi , another year gone and i am single again as i broken up with my girl friend two weeks before xmas and that was ok because i moved on now with my life i dont need her anyway and i focoused on job and going meet more deaf people and doing more in deaf commuity and the hearing commuity as well as i am going get job at this year 2008 and save heaps of money and go uk and go flatting most of all too. and get my self new life then staying same old me i got new hair now and i willing to change my life and came new man with different places to explore and diffeterent life then i had in past and work my ass off to save lots and change man.

I am not working at monment and i am looking for job and flat and i got offer one in linden for tempoery but some one esle ask me if like be their flatmate johnville but i am not what i am going do but i will have to see.

anyway i am happy with my life and i am dating someone at monment her jeanine i dont know how far it will go. Also i have found that dont know what do in life in job but i am looking into job like supermarkets but mc donald and coucil turn me down and feeling that hard to find something.

to be honest i didnt like porirua college it make me feel yuck and the man there was good for few 12 months but the 12 months he couldnt be bothered help me and it hard because of my mild intellical which mean learinging difficult and coornating probelm and short term memory.

be honest i want to flatting it will be big option for me to get indenpence and i heard there worse people then i am in flatting.

i am scared of finding another job be honest because feel that i wont get another job why but i am and it will be challenge for me i havent told anyone one in my family but how i am feeling right now.

beacuse i am feel that i might not be able to work and i felt that for long time even when before i left porirua college and waata didnt help me he made me feel worst that it will be hard for me to find job.

but the only thing i can get out of my system is ten pin bowling and going out and having fun.

but i am happy at monment and it good cos there is good things happeneing in my life

one of my good things is nephews turning older as they get bigger and i cant belive it lol

I CANT BELVIE MY NEPHEW IS SIX AND MY OTHER NEPHEW IS FOUR

I was digiosed with mild intellical disabltiy and I also told i cant drive as i got problem with my ablitles on the road and that it would be dangerous for me drive on roads

I was driving one day with test officer and i went pass the give way sign but didnt see it but he said that was give sign there have to be one u stop automantly and didnt know that. and want to drive but my family dont want me to. and i changed into wrong lanes. i had test to me done it cost me 196.89 for on road test. and neouogly person told me i wont be safe to drive ever i said i want drive but i guess i cant. and i had lots of lesson in pass. so i do not agree still and i do what my family want about me driving oh well.

I getting support from my support worker so I gald because I dont know what i would done with out him and my support from kapti support and i do thanks my sister Rachel and mum.

I think if i didnt get i would of giving up now and that why i didnt want to work when i was on benefit for 5 years it was horriable and i still dont want to be on it. but i had made lots of friends and i am happy and finally left site findsomeone.

i am still worried what i am going do in job that people wont take me because me and deafness and that i dont have skills. i have gone through lot in past i am glad it not that bad but it seem to me it is.

when the wind is cold and it raining I like get warm with clothes on and listen to wind when the wind rattles I feel the vibrate of the wind but I do not hear wind. I feel wind and when rain is hard I like to get away from the rain and feel the rain on the roof tapping away on the roof and also I like to have warm shower to keep me warm and also warm fire so that we don’t get cold.

There is different kind of winter in the New Zealand and some have snow and some have rain and no wind and some thunder storms and floods but not usually floods.

When it is summer I like to go outside in nice sunshine and wearing shorts and t-shirts drinking coke or beer and sun bathing and love to work outside all day. And listen birds singing with the vibrates and the trucks and cars go by and kids and adults enjoying them self. I also like when we have family outing as family in garden or at their house and enjoy the fun with kids of my sister which are my nephews. And enjoyed watching the cricket and I love summer.

My Life

My name is Charles Timothy Pratt (but people called me Tim) I am 26 year old. And I am born in 1980 and born in untied kingdom in place called charfield in goushire in England.

And I was 3 month early baby and I was premature baby with was 2 pounds, which is size of lump of butter even sugar anyway I was born in cottage in bathroom and I nearly died. I was found that I had problem because I would stop crying and they took me to have test on my hearing at age of 1 year old and my parents found out that I was deaf. But they didn’t believe it then they took me again

when I was three old and found it was true. but they were in shocked. But they got over that. Then I started to wearing hearing aids started normal life like another kids would but did have problems at school through like reading and writing and but don’t we all. But in our life we went to England and back quite but when I was 10 or 11 year we decided to stay in New Zealand for good, we have family in UK in Wales and Ireland and London and Bristol.

I went to few school in England and only one can remember was rod junior primary .we used go trip around places like Buckingham place and phantom of opera and lots of other places but when saw phantom of opera I fell sleep through I don’t know why I guess I was tired. Anyway when I come back new Zealand first school I went to was rangkirua school in Wellington and I also went to school in Tawa called Hampton hill school and then I went to nightmare school called Tawa immediate school and then I went to van Asch deaf education centre for five years there also did some course there like cooking and baking and sandwich hand. And lots of cooking and sport course too like rocking climbing, kayaking and lots and used go out lots of events at school and when in boarding homes but cant name it all or go on forever.

And then when I left school I did a computer course then went on to work based training called trade and commerce and then I went to computers in course called porirua training centre and then I left there did at horticulture course at te whanaga o aotea in horticulture. Then I went to porirua training centre again and did a work base training course and did some work experience. One thing in my found really interesting was the outward bound course I did in 2001 that was amazing experience I had ever tired in my life but it was hardest thing I think ever done in that area I reckon, we did lots of things that u do in bush and u learn lot on those course you know what your fears is, like for my example height and water I learnt lot since then but it not really given me confident I don’t know why. Now I am doing work at porirua college as ground men at school doing gardening and rubbish and that is contact for two years I was at work base training course and before that I was doing child care work for 3 months and I also help few in gardens in people homes and help out and I also stay on dole for the least last six years and play ten pin bowling in leauage. And now play for team at night called Tuesday night league and I playing since 2001 and that when I started to join to play Deaf tourment for labour weekend in Wellington and I also play for queen birthday in Christchurch but I come last in tourment. But now I am looking for another Job in Wellington or Tawa but not sure what I want to do yet. I also go on dating site called find someone site to find single people like me and I am always in ten pin bowling. I do know sign language and I am sometime going to Deaf clubs or I find Deaf around places. I know different between Deaf and Hearing people but I am severely deaf with I can hear but I am more invold with Deaf people but there is some things I trouble with and that I got mild intellectual disabitlty but that not mean I cant enjoyed normal life like normal person Apart from that I enjoyed my life meet new people anyone any cultures or Deaf or hearing doesn’t matter I respect people in all life and that why I reason I wanted to write about me that all I think of book.

Ten pin bowling poem

When I play ten pin bowling I stand in position where I can see where I am going strike the ball and then go down lane and then I hear this broom and the pins fall over and knock them down and then I get strike and sometime when the broom does not sound that mean that is does not broom and then I started wonder why did does not go broom and because I hit in same place and I don’t quite understand but anyway I go for the spare and then it knock down broom go go go and that is my poem for this bowling one

I am normal person and I found that people in world does not understand how well I can be just like everyone else. Reason I did this so that u understand what feel about me and not that I am dumb and not because that is hard I have disability that people maybe not understand about it but they might I just deaf and not understand why people think I am different from everyone else but really I am not I am same as everyone but I may not be perfect but u can’t help that in life and maybe it hard me to get things I want. But I get there in end and u will know what mean if u know me that well.

It finally Christmas I cant believe my eyes but it is over the past few 18 months or so I learning in job but I realize it good have good challenge but it also hard I guess that way of life.

I am plan and change my life in way I want get more independent and move in flat and learn thing that way then maybe get better job that I might be able do but I have feeling that things change in life u stay in same situation all your life because if u did be quite boring I reckon so that what I think.

things make think that I do have problems but I am not that bad really just I think it big to me another people see it as it small but that maze me in way. But I guess it not big because see people more problems then I have guess.

but hey I am know got small problem and I know it not proud thing think of yourself as that but I guess always people to help or get some help in way so I guess I am the world there no be afraid or alone but I got learn to get see where go understand that I get where I want understand that I am not peterct in life hey I got not lot that have problem like my family have few

But hey i am happy with my family and friends that I have and I don't put anyone down unless I am joking but hey that fun we have in life. There lot of things I want to reevice in my life but I guess you cant have them all.

for example I want lady to be with but hey cant make that happened I wait for that to happened and see what further told in me.

i always hear about news in the deaf culture and world

they have new system in Deaf relay and that is come with tty phone and all thing about it etc...
and new zealand sign lanuage is come third language in new zeland

Deaf are need more support in everyday living i reckon because there so many people that deaf in job but that only 11% of deaf in new zealand in jobs but there are more uneployment in deaf that reason is because they dont like deaf it hard people who are deaf with disablitly as well as just deaf but u know it hard for disabled people too not just deaf. and that what make me angry becasue it stop people underestand and not letting them have try but i glad this job i got has at porirua college has and that what made me proud and that made me bit confient.

but it interesting because i ask deaf people what job have u got?
usually i get i am looking for job.

yeah but some have got there own jobs like there so good people with job that are deaf but not many

and conjations to deaf couple they got married in auckland there name are darryl and sera well done.

i reckon if we still get at governtment one day we will achive what we want in our furture

reason i think way is because I love to hear and share my idea what i think but there some reasons i cant do that maybe i will try make it work but i see my self doing that but yes i would like to be government for the deaf and make the deaf understood and what disabled people are about not just people with deafness people that wheel chair etc.... and to understand what we on about.

because people are scare what we are but there no need to be scare because we are humans just like u but they dont understand that.

deaf can do anything we can climb and we can play we can help others and we can bleive in others and we use us hands to understand us. but there are some that can talk and little bit with hearing aids and there so that are brainy and clever. And there lot that good at sport just like hearing person.

well i been few problem with asthmas before and cold virus thing but that seem gone now. I am good my job but I dont think it suit me and it too hard for me but I feel that it not going carried on but i got keep going into the contact is up but only problem is i dunno what i want to do in future i am not if i want to work in school again i dunno it hard for me. I think on line of computers or massage i am just not sure what plans are and my parents wont give me ideas well i just have to think of something. I get quite down at times i dont tell anyone because they think i can hope well really i cant but i am not going let that happened to me. I just feel that some times hard me think of Jobs to do because i dont hard me remeber and but i think if i try and write down maybe work dunno. I know it going be hard when my time up at porirua college but least i can think what can do and what want to do i am not sure because i only been in two jobs so far in my life i wish that i was normal and have not got disablitly but i do so that life but it stop me what i cant do that pity because it make me frausterd in way because i cant do it. anyway Deaf assication are helping me in supporting me in my job she come in every two week if she can. And my sister and capital support are trying help me get test for disablitly for congrness assenment so that can me in career future or training in future or indenpent living support somthing like that. I know some people understand that I got deafness but they dont relize that i got disablitly as well and i am not scare of it but it just make me annoy that it is and there nothing i do about i just got live with it. Anyway i love to find lady that treat me and as normal as normal person but will care me and aslo i would love to travel to different places.

I went to The one red dog resturant off courtney place it was good and i also got ride in limo it was great. I also had one game of bowling oh yeah i went with findsomone dating people it was event. but i went some people to bowling with 3 others anyway then i went to Deaf club with friend and i also didnt wake up into the well nearly lunch time and i didnt have lunch into 2pm in afternoon so that was not good but least it was good and My sister was watching weaklink progerm with my mum. anyway what weekend I had so busy and soicalize i must do that more in future and i also going to do bowling more.

Well at monment i am well apart from cold and wishdom teeth problem but that ok. anyway i am following the world cup football (soccer in nz) and not much the rugby i dont like that but lucky that all black got them hahaha my mum wanted them to won but bad luck. well one of my goal was to get job which i got now and that good but the other goal is to get me upskill and carry on so that stay perament at my job so I am finding out what going happened by getting to emerge but I am still waiting hear from that lady so i think I will email her found out anyway not to worried i am sure she sorted something anyway i heard she went to meeting last thursday so I am going found out what she talk about so that know. anyway if I dont come perament at this job i will find another I hope anyway but at monment i dont want hear about that aim on what i got now anyway I am enjoyed work i have improved lot i reckon in some job i reckon. apart for getting sore ear and wishdom teeth and get settle in job it good that i can commuitate well i like that it good.

it june I am still working there and that is good let see what happened after two years eh but that is what happened in past and now so see what i been up to for last fews years since i have left school it been big leap for me over the years and years since i left school because i achive my goal so far and that is good and i tell u what will happened next.

I am have big meeting for july this next month they going half paid for porirua college and mainstream be interesing what will go on there but I might ask if my parents or someone to come with me to meeting on that day so that can get the picture what going on u see.

Umm what can I say well i am saving my money up at money for my wishdom teeth to pull out and also i can spend some for soical thing not much through i am going go to rock N roll at Deaf club with one my friends from auckland that about it really and i am still at work at porirua college and also going to meeting in july about the half pay and for mainstream and porirua college so that interesting anyway that all can say. At easter we all went to church and then my nephews come over and see us and they easter egg from there granny and grandad and the also easter bunny came around put easter eggs in rooms prented to find them. hamish and duncan love that. Hi again this from last year blog that i didnt do. Right I went to England and I hope one day my nephews and sisters go back and see them. Anyway I want say that it was good going back i enjoyed it i went with dad , I was glad dad went back saw his dad becasue if it was me i feel awful away in another country away from u dad and mum cos it too far away but he is happy. anyway we stopped at hongkong for 12 hours and it was terriable and hot there is was 33 to 44 deagree there so we just stay in hotel and then went mc donald and that was disgusing as well but dad did not have it. we had shower in hotel. when got on way to england stop for few hour but we not find shower so got two panda for jackie and dad got some chocolate at london airport for jacky and barbara anyway the party was good and mia love me to bits and alice and andrew were quite people and mess eater anyway that enough on that and my granny enjoyed her birthday next time i got i am going contiki tour to europe and then see the other family hope before i am 35

HI i am been bit lazy writing my blog anyway i am back to tell u what I have been up to. well I am still working porirua college as groundmen and also i been sick with chest injection but that seem to be better now. anyway that i got get my wishsom teeth two of them oh well that life i guess. I also trying to get things in my bit clearer like i would like foucesd what is my disablily and also i dont want stay with parents all my life but when i am ready i will go flatting but i am trying to get help for that anyway. I am also trying to get help with my job in training for machinery and ongoing training show how do the job probarbly and that is good and i hope it work with this lady who going help me. July 13th i think there going big meeting so they going ask me going to it i am not very keen on meeting but they want to know how i am doing. I am on dating site lots but when my membership expries my aim is to keep off it. and try to get out more and go to deaf club maybe or get out do table of six or out socialize with people i dunno yet. oh yeah i am wanting to get back to ten pin bowling when i got my wishdom tooth out i will go back again and another thing is that i am not sure where my life is starting or where it is going so i guess I just have go with flow and i will keep update every week from now on.

I am working at porirua college in cannon creek which in porirua and i am groundmen assiant at school I help with school gardens and grounds but i am getting someone to help me upgrade my skill in machinery and that sort thing and anyway I am enjoying my self at moment it is fun be outside in the nice winding weather or in sun. I have travel to England ,christchurch canada is stop over and nairianga falls and hong kong for 12 hours ,america which is los anglea ,nelson and west coast of south island.

but some these place are what done but it not really stop there but england and christchurch yes and new plymouth and lots of north island but we didn't stop there.

and I love to travel and i was born i england chardfiled and it was in cottage and i was small i was only two pounds and i was close not to living i am lucky person to be live in here and my parents are glad to have me here live. we came to nz when i was one year old with my sisters and mum and dad the reason why my parents came here because there was job here and wanted something different and i would not leave here because i am kiwi here in nz well i am think am anyway but i been here most of my life and that is very interesteding life here in nz.

Hi my name is tim and I live at home with my mum and dad and i am 25 year old and I work as groundmen assiant in porirua cannon creek in school called porirua college and i am deaf and i have disababilty I can't spell it anyway and like bowling know as ten pin bowling i played in league like said in the post below but i wanted say bit more about my self because i didn't do that before and been to christchurch for 5 years of my school years in college from 1995 to 1999 5 year there i love it because there because i made frineds there and they all deaf like me. anyway i am working 2 years now as groundmen and i am enjoying my life and i would do anything to kept off the benefit and before i was on the benefit i did few course in computers and horticulture and work based training and lot work exprience in different nuresry and garden places and i work for childrencare place in tawa called best beginning but that for only three months and it was okay but could not hear what kids say and hard for me understand them and that job was wrong and i alway learn from past and curry on for the furture and if u uneployment i know what like because i been on it for 6 years and now i am working finally and u know what mean when got job it changes ur life. And also i would never go back on uneployment benefit.
